Sales Navigator includes a useful “Posted on LinkedIn in the past 30 days” lead filter. LinkedPulse is designed as an enrichment/API layer: give it profile URLs from your existing workflow and get structured activity signals, including observable reaction activity, across multiple recency windows.
Sales Navigator supports native LinkedIn prospecting and search. LinkedPulse enriches existing profile URLs for automated workflows; it does not replace Sales Navigator.
Other APIs may expose raw LinkedIn activity or engagement data. LinkedPulse is purpose-built to turn observable activity into simple, structured signals for GTM workflows.
LinkedPulse looks for observable LinkedIn activity, including recent engagement, and determines whether there’s evidence of activity within the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
It doesn’t claim to know when someone last logged in. Someone who browses without engaging may leave no visible signal, so no observed activity is not proof of inactivity.
Signal confidence describes confidence in the activity inference, not how frequently someone is active. Activity evidence helps with channel selection; it does not predict replies.
Sales Navigator offers a “Posted on LinkedIn in the past 30 days” filter. That’s useful, but posting is only one kind of observable LinkedIn activity. LinkedPulse can use observable activity such as reactions as evidence too, including for people who don’t regularly post. It returns structured 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day activity signals that you can use in your own lists and workflows.
No. LinkedPulse does not require your LinkedIn login, session cookie, or LinkedIn credentials.
Yes. LinkedPulse is an enrichment layer, not a lead database requirement. You can check LinkedIn profile URLs from your CRM, Clay table, lead database, CSV, or another source.
Send a LinkedIn profile URL to the LinkedPulse API from your Clay workflow, then use the returned activity fields to branch your workflow. For example, prioritize profiles with recent observable activity for LinkedIn outreach while routing other profiles into a different sequence. For an example setup, see our Clay workflow guide.
Activity Check returns structured activity signals designed for filtering and automation. Activity Intelligence adds AI-generated context including engagement topics, an engagement summary, and outreach signals.

No. LinkedPulse uses prepaid usage. The minimum prepaid purchase is $20.
Yes. Signed-in customers can use Process Bulk Lists to upload and process a list without building an API integration.
Yes. LinkedPulse supports Bulk processing and API workflows. The public API currently recommends up to 10 concurrent requests. This is concurrency guidance, not a requests-per-minute guarantee.
It is a workflow-friendly signal indicating that recent observable activity was found within the 30-day window. It does not mean the person is guaranteed to accept a connection request, read a message, or respond.
